To All My Patients and Friends,
It has been a great pleasure for Joyce and I to serve this community, and all of you, since 1997. It is with mixed emotions that we embark on the next adventure in our lives. As most of you know, Joyce received a second chance at a normal life on 6/5/2019 when she received a double lung transplant. She is doing wonderfully and we are hopeful for a long and full life for her, but we are also realistic. Any organ transplant bears the risk of future rejection and the risk is greatest for lungs. So we have made the decision to greatly curtail our treatment hours and do our best to enjoy the time God has given us.
To that end, I have spent the past year searching for the right way to accomplish this, researching all the options available to us and interviewing a slew of people. We are fortunate to have located someone to take over my duties, freeing Joyce and I to travel and spend more time with our children and grandchildren. Beginning 3/29/2021 you will get to meet Dr. Marc Rojtman, DDS. As I turn over day-to-day operations to my gifted colleague, I urge all of you to come in to meet him, I know you will be in great hands and that you will continue to receive the same excellent care to which you are accustomed. I know that the trust and confidence you have placed in me will continue with Dr. Rojtman and for that, I am at peace with my decision and grateful that I have found a perfect successor. Dr. Rojtman comes to us with more than 20 years of experience and superior clinical skills. He is a caring, family man with a multitude of hobbies and interests. I knew he was the right man for the job from the moment I met him. For the next year, I will be in the office on a limited basis, while Joyce and I travel the country in our motorhome. We will do our best to keep you informed of our adventures through the staff and the office Facebook.
Over the years you have all become family, and we hope you feel the same way about us. The majority of our office family will still be present, all staff will remain the same; you'll still see the same smiling faces and hear the same soothing voices over the phone as you have for years. Policies and procedures will remain the same too, the only difference will be my absence and Dr. Rojtman's presence - I know you will come to trust him as I do, I couldn't leave you if I didn't know you would be well cared for. Dr. Rojtman and I will work in close collaboration and I will consult with him regularly concerning your treatment. I will be available to all of you, to answer questions, as needed.
Yours In Good Health,
Jeffrey J Stein, DDS
